Energy Savings
Many industrial sites lose significant amounts of steam, fuel, compressed air, and heat without realising it. Losses that increase operating costs and undermine efficiency. Our energy‑saving diagnostic services help you identify these hidden issues, quantify their impact, and prioritise corrective actions that deliver measurable savings.
We offer targeted services that complement our core site‑level measurement work: steam loss monitoring, compressed air and vacuum leak detection and thermographic surveys. Together, they provide clear, actionable insights into where energy is being wasted and how performance can be improved across your operations.

Steam loss monitoring
Steam losses are losses caused by defective steam traps, bypasses, and process valves that start discharging steam with condensate causing high financial losses.
Having invested in a steam system, you want to maintain it at its optimum operational efficiency.
Our steam loss monitoring service helps you to reduce steam loss and save energy consumption by accurately measuring the lost tons of steam by using ultrasonic and infrared measurement technologies. We include a summary of every installation per P&ID and provide you with credible, accurate steam loss data and a complete report.

Case study with TotalEnergies Belgium
A yearly steam loss monitoring campaign has resulted in significant results for TotalEnergies in Belgium.
Compressed air and vacuum leak detection
Compressed air, nitrogen or vacuum leaks are easy to ignore. The noise of the expanding air/N2 is difficult to hear above the background noise from your industrial activity. 20 to 30% of the compressed air, nitrogen, or vacuum generated in utility or instrument air networks that are older than 5 years is lost forever.
Ultrasonic device or parabolic sensor
Accurate measurements with ultrasonic devices provide specific information and a total overview of your energy losses and potential savings. Internal and external leaks can be detected and leaks through welding cracks are revealed.
Using a parabolic sensor, we assess inaccessible sources to identify leaks and energy savings that would normally stay hidden.
Finally, we deliver a report with our findings and recommendations for further improvements.

Thermographic Surveys
Thermographic surveys enable you to obtain the thermal pattern of an object’s surface. It is a non-destructive measurement technique.
Almost all processes and changes that take place in an installation can be detected and analyzed. We apply the Best Available Techniques to give you clear insight into the condition of your installation.
With our thermographic surveys, we mainly focus on the oil and gas industry. Heat and energy losses are specified in a clear advice-driven report.
