Our history
Dogs detecting leaks
The Sniffers was founded and the company has its headquarters in Belgium. Initially starting with dogs detecting leaks in chemical installations.
Expanding services
The Sniffers invested in specialized detection equipment and offers a wide range of services to detect and quantify emissions, energy losses and pipeline network defects.
Expansion into Middle East
Based on a strong customer base in Belgium and The Netherlands, The Sniffers expanded in 2005 into the Middle East.
Active globally
The company further expands with the help of Private Equity and executes projects around the world. Emission reduction in the oil and gas industry becomes a global activity.
PERSEUS
The pipeline integrity services are supported by PERSEUS, The Sniffers Pipeline Information Management System.
Expansion into Africa
The Sniffers becomes part of WTS Energy and further expands into Africa.
Acquisition by Intero
The Methane Accounting Program, focused on reducing Global Warming effects and the latest version of SFEMP, Sniffers Full Emission Management Platform are launched. The Sniffers becomes part of Intero Integrity Services.
New integrations
The Sniffers integrates the pipeline integrity application and the related services from DMC 1 GmbH, in its pipeline integrity service portfolio.
Rebranding
